Why can't I search the threads?

Why can't I search the threads? Every time I try, I get a notice stating that I don't have permission to access... as if I were trying to do some admin thing. What gives?

Update: Now it says that this function has been turned off by the admin.

I need to be able to search the discussion threads in the Jedi Knight II forums in order to research MOD production for that game. All too frequently, people post vague thread titles such as "HELP!!!!!!!!!!" or "I'M A CLUELESS NOOB!". I need to be able to search for keywords in order to find relevent information.

We have had to disable searching in order to prevent the server from crashing, as searching 50,000 threads and over 350 forums eats up a whole lot of bandwidth. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but it beats having the server go down multiple times daily.
