I doubt it would ever happen, but wouldn't it be awesome to have a Star Wars TV show? It wouldn't be based upon the movie storyline, but simply set in the Star Wars universe. They could set it in the Old Republic or something. If they didn't want to do Jedis, they could base it around a bounty hunter or smuggler.

There is just so much material to work with that it's a shame we're going to be limited to 6 two-hour movies and a series of books that aren't accepted as cannon.

Breakin, I've been thinking the same thing for years! Yeah, have an anthology series--a new premise every week centered around a different character in the SW universe... go all over the timeline, from the Old Republic to the distant future... bring in Mark Hamill for sweeps... it'd blow Star Trek out of the water! :D

What I want is a Star Wars sit com. Like Friends or Seinfeld, only takes place in SW universe. Jerry can still be a stand-up comedian. George can still work for a professional sports team, like the alien football team shown in the AOTC sports bar. Elaine can still work in a publishing comapny. It can show the day to day life of a normal person in a Star Wars universe. If they are driving to the JFK airport, they now fly their speeder to the spaceport in a "NYC" part of Coruscant. :D
