ppl from Europe: what pings do you get?

Ok, I'm from Germany. I use T-Online T-DSL as an internet connection (which is ADSL: 768 kbit/s for download and and 128 kbit/s for upload).

On the server list, my best ping for servers (from Germany or UK mostly) is 63 to 65. In the game I am mostly around 80.

Questions:
- Anyone from Germany or Europe with the same setup who gets better figures? (I heard, T-DSL would not be your best bet for online gaming...)
- Any ways to improve speed?
- How do you rate 65 as ping, does it give you disadvantages in gameplay? (Sometimes I don't see the blue stance lunge move coming until the saber is inside me, may be due to the ping of my opponent though...)

65-110 ping is not bad.

If your hovering around an 80 ping then gameplay should be pretty good. That sucks that you don't see a certain move until it's to late...

Do some traces to some of the servers around you and see if there are any bottlenecks or maybe a bad router somewhere.

I'm from Belgium and i have the same connection as you.
But my best ping is around 200. I've tried lots of things but my ping doesn't change. Any suggestions?:confused:
