I'm always depressed and finally I got hit by a big shockwave today,

I was playing football, But today I was feeling really really sad so I told the coach I was quiting but i really want to play. But at the same time I want to go home after school and sit around and feel bad. What should I do? I am taking Medication about it.

Well this really should be locked because none here are qualified to give you advice on such matters.

But then there is me...you need to laugh more, I suggest giving your parents sleeping pills.
Then when they are unconsous strip them down...stickytape their eyes open and get them in compromising positions with say the family dog, vacume cleaner, or whatever is close by.
Take some pictures with a digital camera and post them here.
I will laugh ( ha ha ha haaaa) and then you may to.
This will make you feel much better also you can now blackmail your parents into buying a new car for you.

...fufil your sexual fantasies elsewhere please...

As for Olin...look at it this way, you can do two things: Play a game, or sit around and feel bad. One involves spending time with people and doing something you like, and the other involves you making yourself feel bad. Which do you think will wind up leaving you less sad?

On the flip side, talking about this with your parents, and your coach will probably help a lot, and making sure you keep regular to your medication (assuming it's prescribed).

Olin, how long have you felt this way? I'm certainly no doctor but I am a bit of an expert on depression. What medication have you taken, are you taking and is it helping? I've been battling with severe depression for 8 years now and although most of the doctors either don't care of don't really know what it is wrong, I'm still trying to find medication to help. Don't lose hope if the medication your taking is not helping...the vast majority of sufferers of depression can be taken care of and most are by the meds that are out today. Most people that I know that have taken Paxil, has helped them but be warned, Paxil affects most people with diminished sex drives. It's not permanent but it's annoying but it is a very small price to pay if it helps you! Welbutrin is pretty good too and has no side effects like that. There is also Zoloft....there are many more...those are some of the most popular right now..I've tried all those too.

I don't know how depressed you get when you get pretty down but know this....however bad you feel, don't do anything stupid because rest assured....that feeling or lack of will pass guaranteed!

I think you should continue to play football.....since you still want to play then do it. It will help. I'm not going to say it will make the depression disappear but being that you do want to play still, it should help.
