Not patriotism, just a honerable thanx from someone who knows what the world might have been without their sacrafice.

ANZAC day was a month ago, Rememberance day isn't till November.

I also (before this day is done) would like to salute all the veterans of the United States Armed Forces! :)

Yup American..ANZAC and Rememberance Day (11 November if I remember right) are good Holidays as well..but Since I am in the US Air Force, I am kinda partial to our own nations day of rememberance - Memorial Day...

I'll add my little salute to all the US servicemen and women who've had to fight for what we believe in.

A personal thanks to the US marines who assisted us Aussies in New Guinea during WWII. I don't think many Australians realise how close we came to being invaded by the Japanese, and what our US allies did to help out.

Good memory HH, Remembrance day is November 11. 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. We shall remember them. :)
