View Full Version : making a wireframe mesh for skinning for an edited model

I have edited a jan model, how do i create a wireframe mesh to skin it on, because when i tried it came out all weird. I have 3DS Max and Milk Shape if thats any help. and what do i need to keep in mind about grouping in Milk Shape as some people have been talking about. :fett:

use spacermonkey's tutorial, there are also a few other good tutorials on this page: tutorials (http://www2.ravensoft.com/jedioutcast/)
that should give you all the information you need. it has to do with UVW mapping. good luck :explode:

thanks klorel but i tried d/ling it...i have XP and apparently its only for 2000 and 98:(. any help would be great on locating a patch or an alternative.
