Please don't misconstrue what I say like what happened in this post: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58452 . I am not trying to make fun of you or be mean or anything. Anyhow, What do you mean by that? I can make a theological reference if need be.

Medical fact ? Mwahahaha, at last my plan worked! Today the medical research field accepts my postulation that pain doesn't exist, tomorrow...the world! The Guber-Naive Biscuit McGee Equation is what we will be dubbing the arachaic word "Pain" in a few short years. Bah! Whether it's shutting up a bawling kid who scrapped his knee from a bike accident to the sobs of a recent widow mourning her husband, The Guber-Naive Biscuit McGee (Named for the famous Scottish blues singer) Equation clearly states that what we call pain is nothing more than electrical jabberwocky affecting the fifth and lowest region of the cerebrum. It's been nothing but a superstition. Now, for my next trick...making claims that love doesn't exist.

Hahaha!

Pain is only perceived by the brain, there is no hard and fast rule as to what can and does cause the brain to register pain.

Anyway, that's what you get for having a sister who is a nurse....

Just a thread that brings up philisophical issues, and challenges peoples beliefs. Sorry for trying to invoke thought from those on what many people to believe to be real......

Just like Space is Black, or Space is a vacuum, as statements are open to many different views and interpretations.

For one thing, try moderating a forum where people post in thread after thread in the wrong forum, or post endlessly on the same topic and flame each other, and ad infinatum necessitating moderation, sucking up valuable time, all the while on a site that sucks up bandwidth like there's no tomorrow and the complaints roll in....

Okay, so it's not all bad, it is fun, and it's a hobby, else I wouldn't be here, but there's definately some pain involved!

As to the philosophical angle.. something about "we don't know what pleasure is unless we have pain."

Maybe it's not real, but it's real enough, and it's USEFUL a lot of the time (as in: "hey idiot, take your hand out of the fire!")
