View Full Version : Complining in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0

I've tried to do the test mod, but when I go to execute it (after I've compilied) it says that it can't find mpdefault.cfg

can someone help me?

Are you running the debug with the jk2mp.exe? I tried that the first time and I got the same error. I had to set up folder and all that good stuff to get it to work right.

Also, if you have set up the folders correctly, check your shortcut. Try putting quotes around everything or just the path.

yeh, I running the jk2mp.exe, the sameway the text file says

how do I set up the folder?

It's in the text file as well. You have to build the VM and place it in folders in your gamedata directory. The text file has all the instructions.

I've tried building the qvm as well, but that doesn't work either

i have the qvm file and moved it to the created path, i just cant get the game to load. i'm not familar with the +set fs_game command. how does it work? do you use it in the console? any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I finaly got it working so now I'm able to create .qvm, so all is well :D

where the thing in "" is the path to it, and the TestMod is the name of the mod

"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\jk2mp.exe" jk2mp +set fs_game TestMod
