Darkness

Why does this game has to be so dark? I several places I can't see anything at all. The brightness-bar in setup has no effect at all? :confused:

Open console (shift + key left to 1) and enter r_ignorehwgamma 1 . Now try the slider.
If it doesn't work you can use these commands:
r_gamma x
1 is default, setting it higher makes the game brighter e.g. r_gamma 1.25
r_overBrightBits x
1 is default, setting it higher makes the game brighter
r_fullbright x
1 is default, setting it higher makes the game brighter
r_intensity x (+ vid_restart )


Be careful! Only use this command if anything else fails.
r_ext_gamma_control 0 and try the slider again.
