*** Circle Of Power *** duel map
i released this last week and forgot to post it here... so if you havent already downloaded it ... check it out and let me know what you think.

I played that map a bit. Very nice. I liked the meteorite effect:thumbsup:. I have one question though. If you get hit by one, does it hurt/kill you? I tried and tried and tried but could not get myself hit by the dang things...

nope... i tried and tried and tried to figure it out
i gave it damage but nothing ... so theyre just there as an obstacle to obstruct your view of the other player (and they look cool falling)... thats if they hit right between one of your battles

You couldn't attach a trigger_hurt to it?

trigger hurt was applied to the effect, but it didnt work... and i asked ppl in here for there help giving it damage and no one knew
maybe you can mess around with the meteor effect and give it damage and i'll rerelease it if you can get it working rich

Hmm... well how did you get the fx_runner to move? Or does it do that by itself?

this fx_runner effect spews out meteors in one area only... so i had to make 3 runners to get the meteors to fall in all different areas... but the trigger_hurt never worked

Ahh, I thought you had fx_runners attached by some weird combination of func_trains or something. :p
I don't think you would be able to then, since the fx_runner is apparently random. The only way I can think of would be to model a meteor yourself and make it a func_train (along with a trigger_hurt).
