Just wondering, if I called a band Goldberg, would you know where I got the name from (Hint: It's a character from a 'popular' movie from my youth - and probably yours)

Ahh, I think it's not a good idea that any band name finish in "berg." It sounds sorta stupid. Somehow...

NOPE, a movie from your youth. A 'kids' movie, it's Disney, but live action and involves a sport

Most likely not my youth, since I'm an old fogey... which also means I've probably never seen the movie.

Goldberg was a fairly succesful NFL star once, he then moved onto the (now acidised) WCW and was pushed to major stardom as an a Steve Austin type character, with the exception that Goldberg was never beat for about a year, until the horrible Scott Hall with a Taser Fiasco happened.

Goldberg bought out his Time and Warner contract a couple of months ago, and is now talking with with the WWF (f'uck the WWE!).

I think everyone lost track of the topic. Anyway, maybe the question was too hard. I myself have no idea whatsoever

Fender was strangely nearly right. Goldberg's a character from a 'famous' hockey movie

I was right... I've never seen that movie.

None of the hockey-related movies I've seen are kiddie flicks.

Hockey is another sport I don't get... although in PE once I scored a goal, I was so proud of myself it was the winning goal and I spent 10mins jumping around coz I actually hit the ball or whatever it was

Mighty Ducks is on TV every 3months or something and I still haven't watched it. seen about 10mins and that's it
