Is anyone going to remake the original Jedi Knight levels with the Outcast engine? that would be good if they are has anyone got their website?

There are currently a few people over on the jedioutcastmaps.com boards that are trying to get togther to make a TC of the original JK for JK2. Goto http://forum.jedioutcastmaps.com/viewpost.php?fid=4&id=249 for all the info.

It'd be fun for us who can't play JO if somebody made a JO mod for JK but I don't think that'll happen.

I'm not sure about maps from JK1 but there are probably some being made. I do know that they are making total conversions for JK2 right now.

Why? The graphics will be better but in the end why not just play the game?

I recently tried to install and play the original JK, and it was amazing to see how far graphics technology has come since then. Seriously, the original JK looked like crap. Great gameplay though.
I would love to see an update of the original. Have that on my desk by Wednesday.

In-Game Graphic technology enhances everyday (1997 - 2002 is a looong time)....thankfully that our graphic card technology is always ahead of our games :)
Ready for Unreal 2003?
