Well, I definatly like the saber. It looks possible to hold in your hand without cutting yourself on blades, rings and gizmos. :D

I would skin it, but i have no idea how to use shaders for the shiny effect :(. If any body will teach me, ill do it.

Skinning models is a problem to a lot of people. I don't know anything about shaders either. I just use the brighten/darken tool to create fake ones. They aren't nearly as good of course.

We should have a small library of nothing but mechanical textures that would be useful to skin sabers with. Things like the grip ring, grooves, and other features that just aren't easy to skin.

ya man im no good at that editing stuff, i got a SDK for MoHAA and i couldnt figure out how to get the **** to work , the ony place i was successful in was DFLW on making maps, well i guess u could call them maps, but serisously thats all i was ever good at;)
