ok, i checked the tutorials, and all, don't get it, help needed with JK2Rad specific lighting, not gtk or anything else JK2rad. my lights look really bad.

Did you try in the entity menu adjusting light or radius?

yeah, i know how to do that, but the cealing above is just blurred white. the light isn't pointing down. you can't see the lights texture behind the light so its just a ball of light, looks really ugly.

Tutorials for GTKRadiant and JK2Radiant are interchangeable. You can even follow RtCWRadiant, EFRadiant, Q3Radiant, and even QERadiant tutorials for JO (as long as it's nothing game specific e.g. Starfleet officers in EF).

to point a light somewhere, put a info_null entity where you want it to point to and target the light on the entity

ok thanks! I'll see if that works. I downloaded GTKRadiant and that came with the whole tutorial, so now i have that on hand:D
