only thing i have noticed is that the door doesn't turn blue when in the map like the tutorial said, yet it works just fine.....
should i not complain?:)

Yah, these doors aren't too bad, but, is there any way To get a list of units of speed for the doors. I'd like a pretty fast door using this PSSSSS sound... my level is a bit darker than the vastly lit ones...and this just adds to the atmosphere..

Welp, I am using the speed of Default for my door, lol... I opened up Kejim and tore apart some of Ravens doors. Since basic Kejim doors had no speed tag, thats fine for me!!!
I rebuilt my first door a few times, Textured the caulk faces which caused HOM and is ready to clone in my level. I now see a blue function door tag in my door in XY view. this must mean its all good... :)
Area Portal Question.... Would I use this tag on both sides of my door or just on the side my character doesn't enter yet????

And as for areaportals, you only use areaportals in doors that move between two areas - and you cover the entire brush with it, not just individual faces.

wouldn't you have to make areaportals doors so they don't block the dorrway? :lol:
