Just to put an end to any debate over if Yoda was about to wipe the floor with Dooku or not: (*ahem*Bungalow*ahem*) :D

"Yoda and Dooku engaged in battle. First, their powers in the Force were put to test, as Dooku attempted to crush the tiny Jedi Master with hurled debris. Yoda easily deflected such assaults, and even repulsed Dooku's Force lightning attacks. The contest came down to a duel of lightsabers. In a climactic battle, the two master combatants displayed amazing speed and agility. Yoda, empowered by the Force, leaped through the air, twirling and battering at Dooku's defenses. Dooku only managed to escape by using the Force to once again jeopardize Anakin and Obi-Wan. Knowing that Yoda's nobility would buy him time, Dooku fled as the ancient Jedi Master saved his younger compatriots. "

Yes, Yoda was about to say "Dooku, may I get your a** for you?" And then reach over and hand it to him, after he knocked it off.

:yoda:

Kal-el posted on another post some cool pics of when dooku had 2 sabers and stuff like that. Apparently Yoda does lay the smackdown on him but they cut it out :(

Yeah, I just hope Bungalow happens to come back by in time to read this thread.

You remember, he was the one on the "Most Powerful Jedi" thread that just wouldn't admit that Dooku was about to get the smack-down laid on him.

Yeah, but Bungalow just wouldn't give up the ghost on the topic (go back and read the "Most Powerful Jedi" thread), so I just felt that I had to post this.

Why do you dwell on someone elses ignorance, you know what happened. You know your right, why continue to argue. Some people will never admit they were wrong even if it kills them. You should probably just let it go.

You're probably right. I think Bungalow did back down; I guess I'm just being stubborn and rubbing it in his face.

MasterD is right on what he said in the 1st post in this thread.
The pics with Dooku and the 2 sabers had to do with a scene that was cut. Dooku pics up anakins saber and uses it to battle Yoda. Dooku loses much worst in that scene than on the one they finally used. This is a description fron the deleated scene:

quote from theforce.net
"Durning the final battle between Yoda and Dooku, originally yoda was to knock his lightsaber out of his hands, to stand on his head, and to say:The end for you, Count, this is. He aims the lightsaber above his head, preparing to stab, when dooku knocks him aside, and then lets the crane fall on Obi Wan and Annie. Originally, yoda was set to get under the crane, pushing it up from underneath, but that was later changed. "

Yoda was going to whipe the floor with Dooku. That is, untill dooku put his hand on Yoda's Head. Yoda, swinging his saber desperatly, Barely missed Dooku.

"Dooku, Funny this is not."

Sound familiar, anyone?

:D :D :D

Question if a scene is deleted is it considered canon?
