In the command console will make a demo for you in your base/demos dir.

I don't think they are.. I downloaded one from a guy that was about 4MB and lasted at somewhere from 15-20min.. you can also convert the demo to an AVI file.. there's info in the tech help section on this..

just type stop in the console
