Should R2D2 replace Yoda on the jedi council or turn to the Dark Side?

Just wanna see what u guys think of this little azz-kicker of a droid cuz i think he is the supreme ruler of the galaxy.....not only has he saved just about every character at one point in time but he also is the only reason there even is a saga (ie. carrying the message from Leia in ANH)....in my opinion r2d2 should replace yoda on the council or better yet turn to the dark side and take over the galaxy.

But,R2D2 wouldnt make a good dictator cause no one would understand him.And,for the council thingy, Yoda made all the Episodes from 3 above.Without him,Dooku would've killed Anakin and Obi-Wan13.

I think he should stay a droid because he has no force powers, so he can't be on the council, and seeing how he doesn't have force powers again, he can't turn to the dark side.

oh my dear, innocent, nieve obi-wan13, R2D2 has force powers......they are just suttle.....and all force powers aside.....im sure if R2D2 was given a lightsaber he would kick some serious azz and he'd prolly use Form VII.

Anyways, I never seen R2 with force ability. (or any droid, for that matter) And if he was given a lightsaber, all he could do is shoot the handle out of the top of his head. He has no hands or feet, just wheels.

Its quite simple........R2D2 is a droid of not only raw power but or heart and character..........luke is weak copared to the powers of R2, so why not let the weak prevail for once......R2 did luke a favor but he could easily have handled Boba himself......i hear that lucas almost made that the actual script

What i really wanna know is.....Did R2 launch that lightsaber using a Spring mechanism or air-pressure...cause if it was a spring....it shot very high.

I think he used an air-pressure type thing because before it launched, you here a small "whoosh" sound, like the sound of air. I'll have to watch ROTJ again.

Yea it prolly def was air-pressure for that reason and also because the size of a spring that would make the saber launch like that would be ridiculous, prolly wouldnt even fit inside the R2 unit

R2-D2 is actally a sith lord!! He uses Force Lighting or the Scolace Crumb Monkey Lizard and the Ewok Preist!!! And he also used the force to avoid being shot when he was ontop of the Ship in TPM!! Then later he uses the force to Grip Jar Jar to death!!!

Thank you........Thank you Jando...finally someone has opened their eyes to the power of R2D2.....it was no lucky chance that he was the only droid to survive the ship repair in TPM.........How long must we wait...how long until the true lord of the sith rises and takes power....Sidious is a puppet to R2.

BTW....it def wasnt a spring i just watched that part of ROTJ and the swoosh sound is def made from the air.
