Quick question:
How many years after rotj was JO set?
Im sure it was about 13 years after a new hope,
but i remember argueing with someone,
that it was set between a new hope/empire strikes back??
If it was set after rotj, i thought mon mothma died somewhere between
a new hope and rotj?
Im confused  Can anyone shed any light plz! :( ta

If my memory serves, doesn't it say 8 years after the Battle of Endor right in the intro to the first single player game?

And Mon Mothma didn't die.

Sounds Risky

Um, Mon Mothma was in RotJ. She wasn't even in any of the other films.

and she certianly never died considering she is in all the books.

If you follow the EU Luke established the Jedi Academy on Yavin 8 years after ROTJ. Since the Academy plays a part in JO its safe to assume JO takes place at least 8 years after ROTJ.

Yeah, it's sometime around the academy trilogy.

As for Mon Mothma.... I wonder when she dies? In Planet of Twilight, Han describes her as having white hair, she has to walk with 2 canes, but she refuses to walk with em in public. That degenerative poison that infected her really did a number on her. It probably took deckades off her life.

It does indeed say that JK2's story begins 8 years after the Battle of Endor (ROTJ) in the opening crawl for the SP game.

The demo level appears to be out of continuity, or is an "alternative timeline" of the events of SP and shouldn't count.

MotS, IIRC (I posted about it some time ago in the valley I think, but I can't search for it now) took place five years after Jerec's defeat. JK took place simply "several years" after the destruction of the second deathstar. Maybe the dark forces books shed some more light on it?
