Yeah, I'm beginning to think alot of us here have spent entirely too much of our Childhoods glued to the TV set! :D

Okay Thrawn, here's a more recent cartoon question just for you (But ANYONE can answer it!):

Next Question:

In the cartoon series, Gargoyles, what two Star Trek: The Next Generation actors/actresses(I will accept their Star Trek characters' names also) lent their voice talents for two of the main characters?

BONUS 1: Give me the characters' names they voiced

BONUS 2: A third Star Trek: The Next Generation actor lent his voice for several episodes of Gargoyles for a minor, non-recurring character. Name the actor (or his Star Trek character).

By the way, Wolfman, I did see your original answer where you posted Michael dorn as the voice of Goliath (You actually wrote "Warf (Golyth) Riker (Xanatos)" ). All of a sudden you get the obscure character name and the actors names from outta the blue? I think someone looked up their answer. ;)

But, I can't prove it so, yes you are correct. :p

But actually, Marina Sirtis (Counselor Deanna Troi) as Demona and Jonothan Frakes (Commander Riker) as Xanatos were the two main characters and Michael Dorn (Leutenant Commander Worf) as Coldstone was the minor non-recurring character.

Next Question:

In the Cartoon series, Muppet Babies, Which one character (excluding Robin and Nanny) was not a regular cast member on the original Muppet Show?

PS try not to look these up guys, it's more fun that way! ;)

I'm not and I'm asking the questions! :p

WolfmanNCSU
07-16-2002, 09:12 PM
Well, I looked up the names of the star trek characters to make it easier, and the other muppet was skeeter, scooters sister. And robin was an orginal muppet on the show, only he was a frog by then and not a tadpole.

(Why did I know that)

STTCT
07-16-2002, 09:14 PM
i agree - skeeter the sister....she wasn't in the original Muppet Show.

Very Good guys. I knew Robin was on the Muppet show occasionally. But I thought the "regular" cast member might have been confused with Robin. Great job! :D

First of all, I can keep coming up with cartoon questions to the cows come home, so worry about it. Look at Rogue Nine and Wolfman, they both answer alot of questions.

Not quite, but good guess with Hanna-Barbara :)

As far as the BONUS question, I'm going to give some hints so that we find out if you really do have the right answer.

*GIANT HINT*

The Cartoon series in question Originally aired in Europe, but was later replayed in the United States during the Show, Captain Kangaroo then later, yes, it aired on Nickelodeon, during the spinwheel program. This series also inspired one of Mike Meyers Saturday Night Live Characters who drew on a chalkboard in the bathtub (The original Cartoon character did NOT draw in the bathtub, though).

the original theme song went:

"Well you know my name is *****,
and the things I draw come true,
Oh pictures take me, take me over,
Climb the ladder with you."

But the series was not titled, Chalkworld, but it is very close to some of the title (in other words, the title is longer that that, and that word is VERY CLOSE to one of the words in the actual title) :D

*END GIANT HINT*

I THINK I know this one, but it's been years since I've seen the cartoon, and I didn't have cable when it was big, so my viewing of it was a bit sporadic. The hero would be the super spy Dangermouse, with his trusty sidekick Penfeld (think that's how his name is spelled.) Luckily, one of my online friends uses the name Dangermouse as his MUDding handle, so I've had a bit more exposure to him in the past couple years.

Yeah! In Cartoon series, he was Hamato Yoshi, and was mutated into a rat.

in the movie, he was Hamato Yoshi's pet rat (Who learned nijitsu by watching Hamato and mimicking him in his cage!). Hamato was murdered by Shredder and Splinter went in search of Shredder and then was mutated into a bigger rat who could talk.

Big difference! If you ask me, they blew it in the movie!

I know in the late 70s and early 80s, G-Force/Battle of the Planets and StarBlazers were playing in California. Earlier than that I watched various forms of the Shogun Warriors in Hawaii, including Raydeen (which I still have original books, and possibly original toys of) and numerous other variations. Heck even the original Gundam has origins back in the early 70s or possibly the late 60s. Not sure about the first one to air. Btw, does this include Hawaii or just the contiguous states? There was a heck of a lot more anime being shown in Hawaii...
