I love the changes made to the padawans; makes them a heck of a lot more efficient, which is helpful for jedi-weak civs like the gungans. The lessened cost of certain upgrades (especially the kaminoan cloners, which was rather expensive considering it only affects laser troops) is also nice.

I like the Naboo changes, and the tougher armor change for the Alliance.

What hour is GMT? Greenwich Meridian?

At what hour will I be able to download it if I use Central?

The Republic is ALREADY too powerful and now their making the cloning process faster to research?

What they should be doing is downgrading them not upgrading them!

My suggestion on that- Take away their repeater troops. Repeater troops are good in small numbers, but when you are able to mass 100 repeaters in a matter of a few minutes, thow them at the enemy and make another wave with a minute or so...it's just too powerful. Take away the repeaters and you level the playing field a tiny bit...

I agree... the Republic is already way too powerful. They already have the most unique/most effective civ bonuses. WTF? Shouldn't the empire technically be stronger than them?

This sounds stupid..basically anything that was good at something before no longer is! I thought the strike mech was meant for taking out troopers. That was its job just like the mech destroyer was meant to take out strike and assault mechs.

I'm guessing that it should be available at about 4:30 PM CST, and at about 2:30 PM in the west and at about 5:30 PM in the east. But that may not be correct because according to the time given the patch should have been out at 4:30 AM CST.

*shrug* I like the fact that they put more emphasis on the clone troopers. If the lessen cost and speed is too imbalancing, they could increase the cost/research time of similar techs (like the Fortress tech that lowers the build time of all units by 1/3). This would shift more focus on the troopers specifically...

strike mechs do *more* damage to troops units not less as stated.

they did quite a bit of changing in the game to balance it out...most are Jedi Padawans. Wut about the Sith Icons. They still have a blue lightsaber in their pics.

I think they were more interested in tweeking gameplay than worrying about the way certain graphics look...

Anyone know if they fixed the bug that made Republic Jedi's icons look like their sith counterparts while carrying holocrons? I guess I'll find out soon anyway.

Something I wish they'd change: the firing noise for the Republic Assault Mech and Fighters. They are identical to the Empire's which takes some novelty away from AT-ATs.

[I GOT THE PATCH 2 WORK AT LAST!] Thats because the Galactic empire (GE) ARE the republic in disguise. The GE took off from the republic. General Veer's nickname for the ATAT - Walker. Nickname from Republic Stirke mech - Walker. Why spend money on research when a) SOMEONES DONE IT FOR YOU b) you would rather spend money on an army or more star destroyers. I like the fact that the republic + GE are interlinked. The thing i hate is the sound the assault mechs make though. Its too anoying! :atat: :ewok:
