X-Wing and Tie Fighter for Win95/98

I have X-Wing and Tie Fighter for Win 95/98. I am running Windows XP. I cannot get either game to run. Has this happened to anyone else? What can I do to make it work? PLEASE HELP ME!

Have you tried "compatibality mode"? Right click the shortcut, set it to Windows 98, try any of the others... sorry, I don't have it myself(only have the DOS versions!), don't know if it'll work
