I think there was a traitor on board of Leia's ship in A New Hope

When C-3PO and R2D2 are in the escape pod...you can hear C-3PO say "Funny, the damage doesn't seem quite as bad from out here." or something along those lines. This might be a way to slip in a message saying there was a traitor on board...that sabotaged the shipsp the ship would be disabled very easily. Perhaps Episode III will work it's way to it?

in the star wars CCG, the card R4-something was used to pull data from the leia's ship for the Empire. maybe it's the same droid...
