Well, i used to collect them just over 5 years ago i think....i didnt like playing the game -that was too complicated- i just liked painting them! :D

I collected Blood Angels, then Dwarves, then i got a pack of that jungle fighting guys...what r they called?....oh yeah! Imperial Guards: Catachan Jungle Fighters but i lost them and i got really annoyed because i really like them - i suspect a visitor stole them :(

I got the box game of Warhammer 40k for free because one of my mum's friends works at the factory and got the box free but didnt want it! :D

I too had alot of Catachan Jungle Fighters, very many...they are rambo nice cool! I have a very cool and well painted Leman russ battle tank...

And Marneus Calgar...he is so cool! Also many nice Wood Elf models....such as Forest Dragon and alot others....I love them, and they are used for display in my room...I'm very proud of how they look...

Yeah it is expensive...Games Workshop manage to bump up the prices all the time! :(

First they had lead figures which were poisonous so they changed to metal and bumped up the price

The they went from metal to 'white metal' because of some stupid reason so they bumped it up again. And they stopped making plastic paint bottles and made fancy glass bottles instead -another excuse to put the price up! :( luckily i had stopped painting by then!

Hehe....so it goes with alot of things :)

Prices keep rising when they earn alot....so they can earn even MORE! MORE MORE MORE!!!!!

Used to have High elves and Dark elves. I played the game all the time. If you didn't play the game you were missing out on 90% of the fun. It was damn expensive though, took ages to get a fully painted army together, needed loads of storage space (scenery, models, playing/painting area etc)....not the easiest hobby in the world, but one of the most rewarding i found.

I have this HUGE collection...don't know where to put them...guess I'll just keep them the rest of my life...considering how much I have put into them, that would probably also be the most proper thing to do...

But I agree...you get rewarded by collecting WH...there are many hours in it...
