Everytime I use the dismember code (g_dismember 300) it acknowledges it and yet it doesn't work! Can anybody walk me through this?

try using 100 instead of 300... I use 100.. and i think is better than 300.. In my opinion

If you're creating your own server you have to type something slightly different in your console:
seta g_dismember 300
OR
seta cg_dismember 300
Can't remember which....

Let me clarify this predicament :D
G_Dismember is the SERVER command for dismember, yes. If this is 0 then there will be no dismember whatsoever even if the CLIENT command is 300.
CG_Dismember is the client command for people JOINING a server; if this is 0 when you're at a G_Dismemer 300 server then you still won't have dismember on.
So in summary:
If you yourself create a server, you must have cg_dismember 300(client command to see dismembers) AND g_dismember 300 (server command to ALLOW dismembers) in order to see dismembers on your own server.

Or just g_dismember 300

He's saying if you're hosting a game you need to type g_dismember 300. If you are also playing on your server, you also need cg_dismember 300. K?

i asked before and someone told me this:
You can do it in single player by putting in,
g_saberrealisticcombat 1-5
Then putting in
cg_dismember 1000
In multiplayer, you put in
/seta cg_dismember 1000
All of that is in the console.
I havent tried it yet.. whats the saber realistic combat, if all you need its dismember 100????

If you're creating a server that's not dedicated(like on the zone or just for practice) then you type:
seta g_dismember 300
others have to have cg_dismember 300 in order to see the dismemberment that you will see....
If you're creating a dedicated server that you will then access seperately, you type seta g_dismember 300 on the dedicated server and then type cg_dismember 300 when you access the server.

Also, you don't have to retype it in every time you start a server or join one. I only typed it in once and it's there every time I start one....
