Well, the Maw model is out, but it has one really big turn-off - he makes footsteps spounds when he floats around. Is there a way to disable the walking sounds by implementing something which avoids walking sounds all together if it's Maw? I've heard it's possible but unfortunatly I don't have the technology and my C is kinda rusty :(

If he has custom sounds, you can take the footstep sounds from one of the assets*.pk3 files, make them nothing but silence, add them into his sounds folder, then change the animsounds.cfg or sounds.cfg to point to the right sounds... You may not even have to change the *.cfg files, though... Try that and see if it works... It would be easier than coding it if it does...
