View Full Version : New saber pack for JediMod too be released.

I have made a saber pack and with a custom program got it so the sabers when used will not be grey. And for any of you that saw my thread about the quick fix to sabers. This isn't it.
None of the sabers are mine. I will put all of the readme files in with it. The only thing I take credit for is removing the hard wire that caused the sabers to turn grey.

Here are all the sabers that I will include

Anakin
Crusaider
Dooku
PS_Dooku
Exar
Gold saber
Guardian
Katana
Maul
Noble
Obi-Wan
Plokoon
Ps_Qui-Gon
Vader
Windu
Yoda

The saber pack that came out not too long ago didn't remove the hard wire that caused it to turn grey.

Also if you have a saber hilt that you want updated tell me about it. Because there is more to it that putting it in a diferent folder.

Ah, that explains the lack of textures on the sabers in that pack.

I got the other saber pack and the hilts were in the pack, but they were not skined.

About half the sabers in the pack were textureless for me, and some of the others had screwed up textures.

I'm sending the pack into jediknightii.net for now I don't have time to send it to jk2files and massassi.net yet, but I will soon.

can you get the rights to add the nemesis saber that was on massassi.net a while back? that was a cool saber!

love the saber pack idea, can't wait to download it

I had tried to get it, but some things stoped me.
Also the saber didn't have a file I needed so I couldn't.
And yes that is a cool:cool: saber.
I may release more saber packs soon.

ah, no problem. I tried out the saber pack last night and i must say good job. i never downloaded all those hilts because i didn't want to be stuck to just one. this has made my day!

thanks goes to dest for the mod and to you for a WONDERFUL saber pack.

can't wait for the next one!

These hilts are great. Now we just need custom sounds for each one.

Is it just me or did Obi's saber make different sounds than Anakin's in AotC?

I know I would like to, but I need a md3 files to update it and all it has is a glm. I was going to email the author and ask for permission and for him to give me a md3 if possible.
