What are your best Star Wars moments.
I would have to say that one of favourite moments has to be when After Obi-Wan witnesses Maul's fatal stab to Qui-Gonn, he comes out blazing. Pure lightsabering greatness.
I prefer when C3PO and R2 go to Jabba's palace....
or the intro of Battle of Endor, with all the ships, music is amazing...

personally i liked it when maul was about to fight obi and qui. he showed off his doubleblade and then duel of fates started playing, wonderful:D

Pure greatness the Duel of the Fates was its probally played by alot of people who play JK2 :D I can understand why too :cool:

Have many and the first that sprang to mind is in TESB when we are first introduced to the Super Star Destroyer. There's a cut of scene to space, we see a fleet of Star Destroyers, The Imperial March tune starts blazing out the speakers and then we close up on a Star Destroyer. A great shadow passes over it and you think 'what the h...?'. Cut to the Super Star Destroyer gliding slowly past in all its grand, dark magnificense, finally seeing its humoungus exhausts blazing uniquely yellow in opposition to the ordinary Star Destroyer's blue - a tell sign of its awestriking engine powa! 'WE BREAK FOR NOBODY!'

Oh oh! The part where Darth Vader tripped over a loose bolt on the Executor floor and smashed his mask open and released a toxic force-fart-of-destruction. No.....wiat.
Ok, how about when Vader revealed himself as Lukes father! I mean COME ONE! How could you guys leave that out?

I think the best moment was when we first saw The emporor in Ep5. I personally was like "That guy is reallllly ugly!" :)
Or When we see maul. It was cool how the music qued exactly with the duel saber coming out....

Well hell that was what I was going to say!
I also liked Vader in Episode 4 when he chokes Admiral Motti after he mouthed off about the Force. That was so classic, and I would give up anything to be able to do that to someone just once:D

Yes but do you remember the faces Luke was making during that scene? At one point he looked like ET. :crybaby:

All of you brought up great scenes, so no need for me to mention them again. ;)
One cool moment though that I MUST include in the list is at the end of AOTC where Palpatine and other senators investigate their new clone army from the balcony above. You hear the Imperial March almost the first time because it's played a little bit differently, you see all those clonetroopers standing there and them boarding Republic assault ships(similar to Imperial Star Destroyers) before taking off. In sense it's much more grandiose version of the scene from RotJ where Emperor arrives at Death Star II and is greeted by army of stormies, officers and so on, but sheer number of those damn clones(every single one of them was a CGI model) is a breathtaking. :thumbsup:

My favorite SW moment is where vader turns luke to the dark side ,and luke cuts off his hand. I thought it was really emotional,.

When vader kills emperor palpatine by throwing him to the pit favorate part of the star wars universe was vader redemption.
yea a really great moment, i agree, the palpatine on the balcony
also duel of the fates is cool and even the dooku -obi/anakin/yoda fighting

The moment in ANH were the millenium falcon suddenly comes out of hyperspace and blasts vader's Advanved TIE, that was cool...
Vader revealing himself as Luke's father indeed
The whole Emperor Luke scene, the psychic battle is great:)

just a quick note, the emperor in ep5 was played by a woman. yes tahts right, they got an old lady to be the emperor for ep5. it wasnt until rotj that they casted that guy for palps.
speaking of rotj thats where my fav starwars moment comes in! 2 words: metal and bikini!

Don't forget that she wore a makeup, and chimpanzee eyes were superimposed into darkened eye sockets(Clive Revill provided the voice). :D
As a matter of fact, I wonder if this is one of those scenes in George's list that need to be "fixed" for later DVD release; he could quite easily replace original actress with Ian McDiarmid and then just put him to say exactly same lines. In this current state Emperor stands out too much as opposed to Sidious' earlier holographic messages.

That's actually not a bad idea at all. There are other things that they could change for the DVD.......oops i feel a thread coming on!
