Tell me what you guys think was the best Space Battle or Ground Battle?

HHHmmmm.........let me think.....The Battle of Geonosis is my favorite simply because of all of the different jedi in action....finally!!! :D :saberg:

In close second was the Hoth battle, I grew up loving those imperial walkers :) :atat:

Ill go with the arena battle at genosis.
Hoth is a close second.:)

Genosis followed by hoth for the ground battles...
The second Death Star for the space one...

For land battle I'd say the Battle at Geonosis. (It's the Jedi in action.)

For a space battle I'd say the first attack on the Death Star. (Such a classic.)

Just for the record:

The First Death Star Battle is called the Battle of Yavin. It's odd you didn't have that seeings how you have The Battle of Endor, The Battle of Naboo, The Battle of Geonosis and The Battle of Hoth :p

My Favorite is a toss up between Battle of Endor and Battle of Geonosis.

I prefer the Battle of Hoth...

Thanks Havoc Stryphe I wasn't thinking when I made the poll very clearly. For some reason I also wanted to add Jabba's Skiff,Bespin, and Jango's chase.

I think everyone loved the Genosis Arena Battle simply cus of all the Jedi involved.

Think about all of the pilots that died and just the people that died because they were on the the bigger ships like the medical frigates and stuff. Genosis was a good battle but just because of the Jedi and Clonetroopers. Endor was a lot like the defeat of the empire. I bet you that all the ppl that died at Genosis doesen't compare to the Super Star Destroyer Executor or the Death Star. That is why Endor was the best cause so many people gave their lives.

*shrugs* I like the Battle of Hoth because like the AT-ATs and the Snow Speeders, not because people died (or because it was the only battle where the good guys lost).

I like Geonosis, because the Jedi were kick-ass!!! Endor comes in second, because of all the ships and fighters and whatnot. Very excitin!

08-14-2002, 07:28 PM
Yeah, the rebels got their asses handed to them at hoth. When I was little I used to love the skiff battle beacause I liked Jabba's goons and it was the first time you got to see Luke kick a ton of ass with the saber.

I love all the battles so much it's hard to decide, I think i'll choose the Battle of Geonosis.

You gotta love the Geonosis Battle :D.......The battle of Endor came in second :p

Battle of Hoth was the best because it didnt have jedi but i also liked the battle of naboo on the ground with the gungans and the battle droids >: ) same reason :P

Battle of Endor had no jedi...................

Yes it did. Yoda told Luke that he was not a Jedi until he confronted Vader. Luke was a Jedi as soon as he confronted Vader and fought him. He wasn't a Jedi the whole battle but he was a Jedi for about 30 minutes.

Luke had nothing to do with the actual battle of Endor though. The battle in space had nothing to do with him.....he could have been sitting at home watching TV and the end result would have been the same, except vader wouldn't have been turned back to the lightside at the end. ;)

08-17-2002, 05:49 PM
But he was there. Even though he wasn't in the fight he did warn the Imperials. If Luke hadn't been there then Vader wouldn't of known that there were Rebel's there at all. Palpatine knew because he planned for the Rebel's to think that there mission was a suprise to him when it wasn't. It's like Naboo. Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Maul were all there, but did they fight in a battle, no. But they were still there. Think of the medical frigates. People were on them but didn't fight but they were still there. They were veterans for just being there. Just being there makes you part of it no matter what role you had. Thats what happens a lot but no one is going to say that they weren't there except for you E T Warrior.
