AAHHH!!! DSS!!! What are you thinking? I certainly hope that isn't the same Trillian I downloaded!!! I downloaded a Trillian .ZIP file that contained four viruses!

Another strange fact is that the first trillian I downloaded was from Altavista.

Well norton didn't detect, so either these viruses haven't ben reported or DSS is telling the truth. :D

I've uninstalled mine, not that i don't like it, it's great! It's just that the program is very young at the moment and doesn't have that much of an advantage over having MSN and AIM and YIM seperately. It's only a version 0.73 right now, but I'm sure as the ppl who make it make more advances to it, then it'll turn out great.

I'm with WeaselBoy. It's a very good program and I think combining the programs is a great idea...but the intergration isn't all that smooth and leaves quite a bit to be desired.

I'm using Trillian right now and no harm has com to my comp... I've been uing it for months and nothing happend back then...
it's a good program.
Norton AntiVirus 2002 doesnt say anything...so... even if the virus hasn't been reported, Norton can still sense if virus-like activity is happening....
Norton messed up my computer when i tried to upgrade to Windows 2000 so i had to disable it so it wouldnt think that the upgrade was a virus.

It's AIM, YIM, MSNM, ICQ, and mIRC all in one... of course i dont use mIRC....more for the hacker taste in me cousins opinion.

The interface doesn't give you the amount of options that AIM, YIM and MSN do individually. That's the thing that gets me.

Well you can have different skins, i use Original Frequency, if you wanna talk on AIM (or YIM, MSNM, ICQ cause i got Trillian;))

nah.. im not going for trillian DSS.... sorry.. i already have
MSN and AIM.. and lately joined by ICQ... wich i realy dont like...... but the SWG people have ICQ a lot so..... but i dont want a fourth istant messenger....

Yeah, you gotta push Ctrl+Enter to send... but not with Trillian! If you dont like the idea of 4 or 5 in one just get trillian and only activate ICQ so that you can just hit enter :D:D:D:D:D

Who needs Trillian skins when I can just skin my entire desktop, so much so that YIM, MSN and AIM are caught up in it and come out looking hella cool.

I've been using Trillian for at least 6 months now. And since I use all 4 chat programs (and sometimes IRC), it is a Godsend. Yes, it isn't as feature rich as the others, but when all you want to do is chat, it is perfect. I only use the real program when i want to voice or video chat.
