What's going on with all those fan games we were all in the making of?

I myself took a small break from it all due to too much pressure with school-life-stuff, But i can show some screenshots from some games i was working on at the time,

The Chosen Blood screens:

(i shrinked them down, if you want to see the full size images just say so, i'll try to upload them)

anyway, what's going on with all those game projects?
I hope theyre not all cancelled or anything....
I'm really biting my nails waiting to play MOR!

all UAC projects involving me don't involve me. I don't have time for Game making, what with guitar, running practice, Rugby and Football season starting, working out, Ju-Jitsu (hopefully Tae-Kwon-Do aswell) and weightlifting, I just don't have the time anymore.

Plus, that's not counting all the time I use for going shooting, messing about with friends, attempting to make corrie go out with me (I haven't seen her for 6 weeks!) and sleeping.

I have little time that im not doing anything in the real life. If anyone wants to program them, be my guest. Get in touch with me, and i';; see what I can do.

I never really got the hang of AGS,
If i would, I'd have a game whipped out in no time...

09-03-2002, 08:53 PM

actually, this is an interesting topic

god knows fender is gonna have trouble programming what with all that rot hes got going on...

heres a little explaination in my adventure game making business....

im making a website for adventure games, but these games are short, but extremely challanging....ie. sometimes only one, two, or three rooms long.........mind you, these are hard as hell

im making them short so i dont lose interest or track

as for the UAC.....i think its sorta suspended........though i have written more MOR, i doubt the game will actually be made, however.....i can always make a shorter version of the game

it really depends on the help involved

I'm interested too, you're a very talented artist NiKo
Besides, if it's free, it's interesting to me

Thanks Murta, it really makes a game designer happy to work on a game when he knows there is a crowd out there that is waiting for your game to come out,
but when no one shows any interest, it kinda takes ones mood down, ya know?

I miss the good old days...

I'm thinking of giving game designing another shot after I finnish school (about 6 months)...then I'll have some spare time before I'm recruited to the Israeli army (BAaaah!)...

ahhhhhh game designing. I think I still have some of the scripts and drawings we used to use. Though, I'm not cut out for making the game...just making the script and controls etc, guess thats why all the plotted games became such a waste.

well, if the punchlines are in the MI way and if i look at the pictures of the game i am sure i would like t play it..

I am dutch, but i guess thats not a problem cause the game is in English..(it is, is it?)

I really like the style of the art there... Very good.

Thank you for the compliments Pappapisschu and faith,:)
Yeah, the game is in english ofcourse, (that is, if i'll ever get back to working on it again)

The story in short is,
You're playing the role of Mike Numskull. a young, not very bright, Rock fan. One day Mike gets a free Backstage pass to a Gwendolin Ganson Concert. (parody of M.Manson). little does he know that Gwendoling Ganson is actually a satan worshiping maniac, and that he and his army of Goths are awaiting the night of the concert. when the full moon shines upon the chosen blood (Mike is the chosen one..duh), All Hell will break loose, and Satan will rule the world. The Backstage ticket is just the bait to get Mike.

And naturally, the humor is quite Monkey Islandish
