is it possible to convert a mp3 file to a wav file?

Yes it is. Just go to download.com and find an mp3 converter. CDex is a good one.

Winamp has a wav output plugin built in by default.. select the "disk writer" output plugin & it'll write it out to a .wav.

i think goldwave works and i think its shareware without a trial period but has a limit on how many things you can do. it can also remove vocals if you want a instrumental, but its not to good at it.

well the song i had worked so its good.

and yes palm pilots have lots of memory, with a mem stick that is
64 mb

nerfyoda said it best, do what he said. Just be sur to change it back when your done so you dont accidentally fill your hard drive up with wavs.

The WAV may sound a bit ordinary, depending on how high a smaple rate MP3 you have. After all, when you decompress something you are trying to add data that isn't there, so it could sound a bit weird, flat most likely....
