First what kind of music do you listen to? Like bands and type of music.

Second what song's are you listining to? Like what song have you been listining to over and over or that you like in particular.

Much of today's "music" doesn't cut it for me. I cannot stand Rap, nor can I stand screaming into a microphone, nor can I stand some hill-billy with a banjo.

My bands, and THE bands are as follows:

Pink Floyd

Queen

The Who

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

You can't beat these bands with a 50ft pole!

I listen to virtually anything. You name it, I probably listen to a band that represents the genre. I don't listen to rap though. Nothing doing on that front. And if I had to name the genre I listen to the most...I'd have to say probably rock and metal, with a secondary of J-pop.

Lately I've been on an Avril Lavigne/E.S. Posthumus/Beatles trip with sprinklings of the Verve Pipe, Our Lady Peace and Ozzy Osbourne.

The Backstreet Boys epitomize the art of music. Their hypnotic melodies, their sexy voices.... Those complex and deep lyrics just touch my soul. There is no band more talented or wonderful, than The Backstreet Boys.

I hope you caught the sarcasm. I think their a bunch of fags.

I actually listen to rock mostly, TooL,(fav band) Zeppelin, Stones, Doors, Joplin, Hendrix, Creed, Godsmack, NIN, Soundgarden, Korn, RATM, blah blah. You got the point.

I also like all there song's other than Du Hast. Everybody thinks about that song when I tell them of Rammstein. I like the rest of there song's. I think my favorite song on that album is Engel. All I know is that it means Angel in German.

I hate Eminem also. I think that all he does is make music that is going to bring controversy and make him money. I can't stand any of his music and I hope that someone like DMX get's into a fight with him and just whoops his a$$. I would love to see that.

I'm listening to nothing right now, since the lovely microsucks internet exploder caused my pc to crash numerous times and forced me to do a format.

Now, I've installed winblows XP on my machine and it won't register my lan-connection (which worked fine until I did the formatting). So now all my precious music is sitting on my dad's pc and taking up space....

Yeah, Weezer is the coolest!
1) Pinkerton (Dark, but classic - pick it up if you don't have it!)
2) Blue (Most popular but deserving)
3) Maladroit (Hard rock)
4) Green (Fluffy pop, but I'd take Weezer fluffy pop over any other crappy pop artist IMO)

Besides Weezer which is mostly what I listen to: here are my favorite albums"
Finch - What it is to Burn
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
The Hives - Veni Vidi Vicious
The Strokes
The Vines - Highly Evolved
Home Town Hero
Ozma - Rock And Rock Part 3

As you can tell I'm a huge band geek.

Shaking the tree... Got that one too... I had a bad experience with that... When I was five, I pulled a CD out of the vast collection of my father, which was by coincidence Shaking the tree. You sure know that there are those thingies in the CD box that hold the CD inside...and I pressed them all in... This way the CD wouldn't hold inside, so my mother gave a share of action (beat me).

Rock the Casbah by THE CLASH and the remix by Solar Twins (the one from brokedown palace).

Now the king told the boogie men
You have to let that raga drop
The oil down the desert way
Has been shakin' to the top
The shiek he drove his Cadillac
He went a' cruisnin' down the ville
The muezzin was a' standing
On the radiator grille
CHORUS
The shareef don't like it
Rockin' the Casbah
Rock the Casbah
The shareef don't like it
Rockin' the Casbah
Rock the Casbah
By order of the prophet
We ban that boogie sound
Degenerate the faithful
With that craazy Casbah sound
But the Bedouin they brought out
The electric camel drum
The local guitar picker
Got his guitar picking thumb
As soon as the shareef
Had cleared the square
They began to wail
CHORUS
Now over at the temple
Oh! They really pack 'em in
The in crowd say it's cool
To dig this chanting thing
But as the wind changed direction
The temple band took five
The crowd caught a wiff
Of that crazy Casbah jive
CHORUS
The king called up his jet fighters
He said you better eaarn your pay
Drop your bombs between the minarets
Down the Casbah way
As soon as the shareef was
Chauffeured outta there
The jet pilots tuned to
The ****pit radio blare
As soon as the shareef was
Outta their hair
The jet pilots wailed
CHORUS
He thinks it's not kosher
Fundamentally he can't take it.
You know he really hates it.

Well I was just listining to the LOTR: The Two Towers Soundtrack and was playing it real loud and I started thinking that it was a good time to bring back my Music thread.

I was just listining to Track 5 "The Urak-Hai"

I was playing it very loud with my comp and my nice subwoofer. :D
It really reminded me of the being at the movies. I was like "I wish I was a Urak-Hai right now listining to Sauramon give a speach. I was stomping and the music just really got me into the mood.

I then started listining to the Duel of the Fates. :D:D

I hardly get to be home alone especially when I have to watch my little sister.... But I shall be able to blast my music to some extent with my 5.1 speakers by February with my newly built computer ;). I just hope my old HDD isn't corrupted or anything and that I can get everything back from it and then throw it away. (My old 10GB HDD would slow down my new 60GB ATA133 HDD :D)
