It's only for a server.

My gaming computer (this is seperate on the network) is as follows:

OS: Win XP Pro
DSL 1.5mb/384kb
Case: Antec PLUS1080 SOHO Server Case
Memory: 1 gig Mushkin Hi Perf LEVEL 2 2100 @ 2-2-2
CPU: Pentium 4 2.4 gighz
Motherboard: Asus P4B266
Video Card: Geforce 4 4600
Monitor: 21" Sony Multiscan E540
Hard Drives: IBM 7200 RPM 20 gig + 120 gig
Audio: SB Audigy, Klipsch Pro Media 5.1's, Sennheiser 580s with Proton D540 Intergrated AMP
Input: Logitech I-feel Optical Mouse, IBM Keyboard, MS Sidewinder FF Precision Pro 2 is as follows:

I am using the Athlon (first computer mentioned) as a dedicated server for a game. Just wondering if it was overkill.

Oh... well... compared to your gaming computer, that first one isn't overkill.
