would it be possible to add animations for while you're chatting with T/Y/etc or the console (SHIFT + ~)?

anyway, my idea (if possible) is to utilise the comm animations. it could start with BOTH_TALKCOMM1START then as long as the you're in chat mode (T or console) it uses BOTH_TALKCOMM1 then when finished use BOTH_TALKCOMM1STOP. if that's too many animations, assuming one is possible, just BOTH_TALKCOMM1 would suffice.

that'd just be eye candy, really. i meann, if you're talking would you really be paying attention to the animation? the big TALK sign is more of a hint than the animation, and more easily noticed.

but of course i'd download the mod if it cameout ^_^

I'm no coder, but I'd be willing to guess that it could possibly be coded in. It's actually a really cool idea :) Like t3rr0r said, eye candy is always good :D

yeah that should be pretty easy. It has a check to see if any of those keys are down in some function so it knows if it should draw the chat thing over your head or not. You could just add a function to do an animation as well as a chat thingy.
