Exploding people

Ok, i am tring to modify the lightning force power. as im sure you know when used on a person, elelctricity is seen on the victim. however. i am wondering how to make it so an explosion occurs at the victim,

basically i want every person killed by lightning to die with and explosion (like when the lightning is use to destroy a crate).

so far my attempts have made the player throw fire, and throw rubble (dont ask......long story)

anyway Please Help
