haven't come to these forums in a while..well..

I'm mostly Foofles ingame , rarely CoolJ ..

well. here is my model:

now, I followed the POlycount JK2 model tutorial perfectly... have it segmented, capped, you can see it's UVW mapped, every vertice and tag is weighted to a bone, it's tagged, it deforms well..

but when i try to build it in Assimilate, it says "error importing .xsi file . Code 12"

anyone can help me? ... it'd be greatly appreciated and I'd even give you credit for your help in a readme file with my model ... hehe

well... ok, I altered the bone positions , slightly, to better suit my model (guess i should have altered my model to fit the bones..) ...well you can see my model's awkwardly shaped so i figured curled finger bones wouldn't fit it, etc... so is that the problem... yes, i'm a n00b at getting models into this lol

yea fooling around with the bones is not a smart thing to do, it causes problems...
i suggest you reweight and reheirarchy with the unaltered bones.
