Well in this site they say there are these scenes on the DVD:

1. Padme addresses the Senate
2. Obi-Wan talks with the Analysis Droids
3. Obi-Wan learns of the "Lost Twenty" Jedi
4. Obi-Wan and Mace discuss Anakin at the Starfighter Hangar
5. Anakin and Padme with Padme's Family
6. Anakin and Padme on Trial on Geonosis
7. Extended version of the Yoda/Dooku lightsaber duel
8. Jedi Raid on the Droid Control Ship <- ;)

It's in my comic book, too...

I am interested by the "Mace and Obi-Wan discuss Anakin at the Jedi Hangar" scene: in one of my magazines, it says that a set for this (long walkway with Jedi Starfighter at the end on a circular pad) was created, but never used to film anything. If the scene was never filmed, how are they going to put it on the DVD? Maybe it's my mistake...

Also, I'm glad that the "Anakin and Padme interrigation" scene is being put back in, because it raises some interesting points. I was surprised when George Lucas left it out.

i think Mace says something about 1 Jedi is as good as 50 geonosians, when dooku says they are outnumbered... :)

Count Dooku: "Brave, but foolish, my old Jedi friend. You're impossibly outnumbered."

Mace Windu: "I don't think so. The Geonosians aren't warriors. One Jedi has to be worth a hundred Geonosians."

Count Dooku: "It wasn't the Geonosians I was thinking about. How well do you think one Jedi will hold against... (cut to scene of Super Battle Droids approaching)... a thousand Battle Droids?"

(Zap, thwum, woosh, bang!)

 Man, I hope this thread is accurate......that would be something to see all of those sceens. :D

I want to see the extended Yoda/ Dooku fight......two sabers for Dooku, that would be interesting. Dooku must have been afraid for his life to have picked up a second saber.....he seems too arrogant to fight in such a way........

Man i seriously cannot believe Lucas left some of these scenes out, almost all of them sound like they would've made the movie a TON better had they been included. Why on earth does he give a rats petooty about the runtime? Guess he wanted to keep it relatively close to the runtime of the other 4 movies, even the way it is Ep2 is 10 minutes longer than any of the others but George should realize even if it was a 3 hour movie every starwars fan would still want it to be longer, no need to take out all that good stuff. :p

09-21-2002, 10:59 PM
You are absolutely right Deetox.....why take out all of that good stuff?? It's not like anyone hasn't ever seen a 3 hour movie before...

Here's a run-down of what will be available on November 12:

Padmé Addresses the Senate.
Jedi Temple Analysis Room.
Obi-Wan & Mace - Jedi Landing Platform.
Extended Arrival on Naboo.
Padmé's Parents' House.
Padmé Bedroom.
Dooku Interrogates Padmé.
Anakin and Padmé on Trial.

- starwars.com
feck no droid control ship.

Man that just sucks! 6 out of 8 deleted scenes about Padmé? Wtf?

I mean it's cool they want to flesh out her character more but I thought she was already explored enoiugh in the movie as it is. The battle in the Arena and Final Duel were too short, the Raid on the Droid Control Ship should not have been cut! So why not put them on as Deleted Scenes? All the fans where screaming for those!
I'm actually rather sad now.... :(

09-25-2002, 02:20 PM
 WTF!!!! No droid control ship???!!!! No extended Dooku/Yoda battle??!!! You've got to be kidding me! Say it ain't so........:(

Like agent smith, I'm not in such a hurry to get it now......

J/k!! I still want to see the movie....just won't be the same though!

09-25-2002, 06:20 PM
HUH?? they're leaving out BOTH of the most anticipated scenes? what the bloody hell are they thinking? i'm not even looking forward to the stupid DVD now, what a joke.

09-25-2002, 08:22 PM
I'm real disappointed, too :( Now, I want to know where that first website found their information--I mean, it obviously wasn't a US. site, so are the scenes going to be in the Europian release? Are they not giving a full list on starwars.com? What? I really wanna see those scenes

they gave the whole list... eight out of eight scenes were explained.

09-26-2002, 10:28 PM
I'm thinking *maybe* they just want to suprise us and will put those 2 scenes *in* the movie instead of including them as deleted scenes. They simply HAVE to include them in some way, theres no reason not to, everybody knows they exist.

not gonna happen lucas isnt into suprising us anymore... he is just to damn picky about his frickin vision of what star wars is to be now.
