Silly Newb Problems ...

some silly "I just downloaded and am trying to map questions "..

1/ can you rotate brushes and entityies? if so how ? I cant seem to find any refrence in the readmes... but I do read like a 2 year old .....

2/ I am getting a silly little error on my first learning map ...
when I walk on certain areas I get a slpashing in the water sound ... what causes this so I can avoid it in the future ...

Ok, real simple anwsers: 1. Try hitting the "r"-key, should do the trick. For entities try the "n"-key and select one of the eight angles in the lower left corner. The numbers are (guess what) the degrees...

The splashing sound comes from the shader you are using- you can fix it either by rewriting the shader or by just building a small clip-brush over it- that should do the trick also...
