It's not REALLY rare - unless boxed.

I spotted around 5 of them on eBay (Carts only) when I last looked, selling at around $10+ each .

I havn't been able to play it lately since my NES isn't at my house, but I never thought I'd see the day when I owned Maniac Mansion with the original cover.

If collecting LEC games was the same as paleontology, your find would be the equivalent of a missing link. Extremely rare, and good to know.

Yeah, collecting rare stuff sucks.

I only say that because I was outbid :crybaby: on the Indy 4 talkie CD yesterday:cry6:. It was in its original wrapping. :cry7:

I had a chance to play it and I think it's better then the PC version. The controls need work though.

one of my friends has Maniac Mansion for NES in SWEDISH... Now that's rare.... He has the box too i think.
