This has thouroghly covered in the Bioware forum, so I'm bringing here, so as not to be flamed. :evanpiel:

What do you think will happen when you "finish" the game? Will there be side quests? Will you be able to go back and explore, socialize, etc etc....
I'm not really asking, I'm just looking for discussion. Please share your thoughts.

Since it is an RPG, I think that you can go back and explore the planets, but I'm not sure. I hope so, though.

when the game is over, it'S over...

during the game, you can go and forth as you please...

Aw that sucks, it'd be cool to keep going and going and going and going :D

It'd be fun for a little while, particularly if there are easter eggs to be found. But if there is no more character interaction, no more enemies (because they're dead) and no more quests it would get boring very quickly. Replayability will come from replaying the game to get all the side-quests and maybe the a few clever modders.

I hope there are several easter eggs to be found and lots of side quests!!!:)

I probley won't go back and play through it again, I'm sure that one time through will be enough for me. I mean it took me about 4 to 5 weeks to beat Jedi Outcast, and I'm not doing it again, but it was worth it.

If they have multi-player options or tons of side quests then I may play it a second time, just maybe ...

I really, REALLY hope that there will be a buttload of sidequests. They make games so much funner!

Yeah, I think that would be cool......I want to be able to get my jedi robes instead of just keeping that star trek looking suit. :)

Mindtricks better not be an easter egg. Mindtricks should be a standard jedi power not a special unlockable power. A good easter egg would be becoming as powerful as the chosen one.

I think I'll play through the game again once I finish probably a few months after. I always play through games again. Just don't play it for a long time until your memory of each detail disapears and its a whole new game sought of.

At least in this game you can choose to be a different occupation and have different party members (I think) and possibly be able to choose between being a sith or a jedi. However, I guess the story stays the same either way.

I was talkin' about special force powers.....ones we haven't seen before in any SW game. They talk about having over 50 (or something) force powers, so I think it would make a better game to have to earn certain force powers rather than just start out the game with all of them (like Obi-Wan, and we know how that game turned out).

Since you can follow the path of Light or Darkness, the game should be good to play atleast twice, not to mention difficulty levels : PADAWAN, JEDI KNIGHT, JEDI MASTER, perhaps.

The developers have said that how you interact with characters will have an effect on the course of the story. :)

yeah, that's the coolest part in bio games, interacting with npcs...

I hadn't really read much into the play of KotOR until joining this forum recently. Am I right that KotOR is going to be more like Final Fantasy than Jedi Knight II:Jedi Outcast? When I first saw the trailer I thought in my head it would be a first person player like JKII. I think that would be really cool but I'm gathering it isn't going to be that way.

It's off topic but anyone else looking forward to SW:BH? Only a couple more weeks . . . :jango:

Yeah. That new website for BH on lucasarts.com is great. I hope KOTOR does something like that round debut time. That's the best site lucasarts has ever done for a game.
