In your guys' opinions: How long will Lucas live to do these Star Wars movies? And if he does live longer than anyone thinks, will he continue to do so after episode 3?

That question has been on my mind for a while so i hope people will have some answers....concentrate mostly on the 2nd question.

It's ENDER!!! I haven't seen you for quite the long time, neh?

Episode 3 will be released in 2005. But i think that's the end of the movies. Lucas has said he'll be too old for another trilogy. So the end :(

EPIII will be Lucas' last film. But he did say in his interview with Leonard Malten on the remastered trilogy release of ROTJ that he may let others direct in the future.

Well, recently I heard the opposite.....GL was going to make sure that nobody else would ever direct a SW movie besides him.

Now books, tv specials, etc. that is up for grabs. But as far as movies go, I don't think we'll be seeing anymore after Ep III......:(

Thanks alot Padanime. Good to be back.

Dang i was really hoping Lucas would like pass the movie making onto another... :( But he's gonna go out with a good movie, one of the best of all movie series. Something to be proud of for sure.
