We've had this one before, but I like the question.....GL always seems to come up with something good, at least IMO.

I said it before.....I like "Rise of the Sith"

meh, i cant even think up any good titles.

the phantom menace
attack of the clones
- - - - -
a new hope
the empire strikes back
return of the jedi

i think the title will include either " empire " or " jedi "

rise of the empire

if i had have said the title to ep. 2 was 'attack of the clones' a year ago i would've laughed at myself :D

I'm split between these two titles:

1: "Star Wars: Episode III - Fall of the Great Republic"
2: "Star Wars: Episode III - Rise of the Empire"

Either that, or Palpatine will stick his name in the title (a first, to see a character's name in the title), something like "Rise of Palpatine" or something. George seems to have a good idea for titles, though, so I willl leave it to him. After all, "The Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones" sounded bollocks when I first heard them, but they've grown on me, and now I love 'em!

I posted a bunch of others in the other Title thread but here is a new one I thought of

Star Wars: The Shroud Revealed

I've always thought that 'Revenge of the Sith' would tie in well......

Anyone surprised that I agree with ET_Warrior 100% about this?

I think Revenge of the Sith creates symmetry, as it is very similar to Return of the Jedi.

It is cool to think about what the next title will be but we all know it will be somthing we will never have thought of. Like ep1 The Phantom Menace, IMO that is the coolest title he has come up with.

Not really....:D

Hehe you know about 4 or 5 people including ET and myself posted Revenge of the Sith in an earlier thread. Makes sense wed all think of it cause its the most sensible title most people can think of. But ya JediMonk has the right idea its creates symetry. But we all know itll be something well never think of and also be ten times better.:D

Hmm. GL has good titles? Attack of the Clones is really lame IMHO. The clones attacked the separatists at the end but really, what point was the title for Ep II? The Phantom Menace is ok, especially starting off everything with Ep I, A New Hope fits, Empire Strikes Back is good, and Return of the Jedi fitting. Attack of the Clones is a departure that I think was an error. Cloning has been a media buzzword ever since Dolly (the first mammal, a sheep) was cloned back in 97. The Clone Wars would have been a better title, though not quite accurate either since we only see the first battle of the war.

The backlash I am going to catch from my comments here is that I don't have a better title to offer, other than the Clone Wars which is suspect. Maybe Dark Side of the Force or Republic in Peril. I know, they're lame too.

As for Ep III, Fall of the Jedi, Rise of the Sith, Fall of the Republic, Rise of the Empire, The Galatic Empire, The Dark Side Conquers, etc. I would like to have seen more of the Clone Wars on the big screen but I know we'll only catch the tail end in Ep III as the Jedi and Republic get taken out. It could be called Star Wars: Dark Lord of the Sith for Vader's rising.

All I know is I can't wait for it.

I thought AotC was crappy when i first heard about it....but it's grown on me, especially after i've seen the movie....

How's Attack of the Clones any different from The Empire Strikes Back, when you think of it? They both sound like the names of 50s B-movies. You've just had 22 years to get used to The Empire Strikes Back.

Nah, TESB is fitting and I've never questioned the other titles besides Ep II. The Rebels dealt a huge blow at the end of ANH by destroying the Death Star. The Empire struck back by "smoking the Rebels out of their holes" on Hoth and capturing Han, Leia, Chewie to get to Luke. Return of the Jedi is also perfect for obvious reasons. TPM is fine because what else are you going to call Ep I?

AOTC HAS grown on me too, when I first heard it I really thought that GL was off his rocker. Using clones for the army is a great idea and explains why Leia thought Luke was too short to be a stormtrooper in ANH. Still, AOTC just doesn't seem to fit to me. Oh well. I still love SW and Ep II and it's all good.

Episode 3: Master Yodog and the College years

I'd imagine it will be inkeeping with the "Saturday morning serial" style of the first two episodes of this trilogy, though perhaps it could tie into the next one nicely.

"Star Wars: Episode III - Fall of the Jedi".

Linking with Return of the Jedi? That is as close as it will get, I think... apart from calling it "Star Wars: Episode III - Return of the Sith"... but I don't think that would happen, personally.

Good idea's CD 2, I like 'em!

The title of "The Fall of the Jedi" is good, very good...........damn that sounds good........

I must go with 'Revenge of the Sith'.

It makes simmetry, and most important: George Lucas Wanted to cal EPVI 'Revenge of the Jedi' but he dropped it becasue Jedi did do that things. BUT Sith DO, and well, What are the Sith trying to do since TPM (or since a millenia)?
