That a FBI agent in the USA could not do anything in a county(or perish) with out writen permission from the county sheriff. Thus discharging any of hollywood's falsehood of a FBI agent coming in and taking change just by showing a badge.
I got this from a friend of my dad who IS a sheriff.

The FBI realy has less power than you think, but that doesn't mean they don't have any.
Kinda makes you wonder though, how many of their activities are covert??? I think I'm afraid to find out that info..........:(

It isn't too hard for a situation to be declared under the jurisdiction of the Federal Govt, and not local, and all of a sudden the FBI can do as they like!!!
What about the use of FEMA, as suggested by The X Files, to suspend govt in certain areas.......

It's not really surprising that movie/show directors would twist the truth to fit in with the plots of the show...how typical:rolleyes:lol:D

Only about 15% on average of what hollywood puts out is flase. Unless they go out of their ways to make it acurate.

What falsities can we easily find in Hollywood Movies:
U-571: The enigma code was recovered by RAN - ie UK soldiers from a sub, not US..... Plus most of the Enigma cracking was done by the UK, Bletchley Park I think it was called. They were able to intercept alot of the transmissions there and spend time cracking them............

Also in Braveheart the battle of Stirling was done over land not on a bridge like it was ment to.
