In my level i have several areas where there are friendly npc's helping out in some battles, unfortunately, they get trampled by at-st's and follow me wherever i go. Is there a way to make them go their routes and not follow me around so much? I tried bot routing but that didn't work.

Legameboy, do you even know what's on that site? If you did you would know that he will not find his answers there.

You're gonna have to use scripting to stop them from following you Tyler. Basically your gonna have to tell them to stand still, or make them not see you and return to their routes.

Yeah i have the definitive mapping tutorial already, otherwise i would never have figured a lot of this sh*t out. Unfortunately, tutorials for scripting are nil, except for the one that came with the tools but even they're kinda hard to understand. But thanks for pointing me in the right direction, shdw.

Some scripting is explained here:

http://www.geocities.com/rellenbroek/main_realscripts.html

It features some npc behavior scripting and Cinematic scripting. It should help you on your way, hopefully.

It's based on Elite Force which is almost the same as JK2.
