I am making a Snowtrooper model with help of hansmoleman :D he is doing the hierarchy and all that stuff :D once again THNX !!!

Your model is looking very nice, indeed. One thing though ... and this may be a premature reminder ... in the film, the snowtroopers had some kind of "cape (for lack of better word" that hung down from the waist.

Looks pretty decent.
Things to look out for;
The cape thing at his waist is a little shorter
and doesn't cover his legs.

yeah ill try to put the model in-game when its done but it still needs some work i think. Id make the legs more stormtrooper like and maybe longer, also the cape thing looks like a dress im not sure how you'd fix that. Other than that it looks great keep up the good really looking forward to getting it ingame :D :D

The picture on your site of the Snowtrooper in the movie has a other (torso) armor,... maybe its better when you make it like that :) . I think you must use the stormtrooper sounds because there are no sounds of the snowtrooper :p , and he has two pockets on the sides of the cape. Maybe you can make the belt a little smaller,.... I can't wait to play with it :D:D:D

I think that the whole model is looking great!
I think the cape is just about perfect comparing to the pic on your home page.
I would love to beta test this model! I am currently beta testing the Ackbar model and the variations of it and will soon be beta testing the Yarael Poof model when it is ready. I really hope I get to beta test this great model!

I have update the last pic :D ,.. i am still working on the new torso armor, but the knee armor and the little pockets on his belt are done . The cape is a little smaller now and its looks better :D,....

Hansmoleman the pockets, bag and the knees are new groups must i add it to the general groups ? (example : knees with hips or legs ,.... bag with torso)

you might want to take out that heavy crease in the cloth over the face... not all troopers masks are wrinkled that bad. the skin could probably give it the right look.

teh model is looking much better, i like all the detail your adding. One thing tho, the head is looking a little large, this could be because of the cloth on the face, try scaling it down a tad, and see if it looks better

you'll notice a rendering errors in the head, and several weighting issues, i am aware of a few but feel free to point them out so i can make sure to fix them soon. This is also not the real skin i just used a black and white texture just to get it in-game still it looks cool, can wait for Scouttrooper to finish the real skin so we can see how sweet the model actually is...anyways w00t!

I felt that those 2 pics didnt give enough credit to scouttrooper. so i fixed the head problem and it looks much better, ill attempt to wrap up the wieghing tomorow and send the final version to scouttrooper for skinning i guess, oh here are the addreses of the new pics

Dark Jawa yes the bug in the back of the head is fixed, as a matter of fact most bugs on the whole model are fixed. The only thing left to is skin the thing, which is what Scouttrooper is doing, and properly weighting it, which is what I will do after the skin is complete and Scouttrooper send me the model and the textures.

Well Scouttrooper, I say if you really want to, finish your snow trooper model; it might be a while before HapSlash gets around to finishing his.

But, continue your work on Ponda Baba. And then make the Ewok model like you mentioned above. To my knowledge, nobody is making one of them.

I wouldn't let any of my work sway you from finishing yours, especially since you're so close to getting him done.

I still haven't even finished the mesh for mine, then there's the uv mapping and everything else after that. Add to that, the fact that I've never gotten a model succesfully into the game and I've only finished about 15% of my projects, and there's no telling how long it will be before I'm done.

First Ponda Baba and Anakin Skywalker :)

Ponda Baba is almost done, i have seend it in modview and it looks verry good, only some little things must be done like the head and one bug in the leg. I'll test it ingame soon,

Anakin Skywalker is going good, the Slave version is almost finished and im already trying thingys with working on the other Anakin versions,

That would be great if it were included in the Dark Forces mod, but I don't remember them being in the original DF game.

nope they weren't in the original, I guess they will replace the stormtroopers in the snow planet level with the snowtroopers, that's a good choice. :D

the model i know is on hold i think. because this guy has so many models he's working on all together. i guess adding bits and peices here and there to all his models. but there havent been updates on this model for months. but its still around thats all i know.

In my post, I said one was being done by our mod team, and hapslash was doing a nice looking one as well. There is Scouttroopers model on top of that.
