That's cool, really, really cool! Now all we have to do is wait :D

i don't think Harrison Ford will play if there is going to be a new Indy movie.

its the simple fact that he's too old but then again there are stuntman.

Yes, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, and Kate Capshaw were approached at the Oscar's and they confirmed Indiana Jones 4.

Spielberg said the reason they waited so long to start this project was the script. He wanted to absolutely make sure that the script would live up to the quality of the previous three films.

So Harrison Ford will reprise the role of Indiana Jones, as well as Kate Capshaw, who will possibly reprise her Temple of Doom role of Willie Scott, but that is still unconfirmed. Sean Connery is supposed to make a cameo appearance as Indy's father again. And Karen Allen is supposed to make a cameo appearance as Marion Ravenwood. No word on John-Rhys Davies reprising his role as Sallah.

To explain the aging of the Characters, the film will be set in the 1950's, so that 16 years of "Indy time" has passed as well.

The Film is, as of now, scheduled for a Summer 2005 release.

Cool, they seem to have solved the aging of Harrison Ford then if 16 years has passed between the movies.
It will be interesting to see what the plot will be as well who will play the bad guys. If it's in the 50's, they can't really use nazis again...

Hmm, that sounds familiar. Now where have I seen that before... ;)

It's the Cold War, he'll be shooting up Commies, like in The Infenal Machine.

In any event, I'm sure it will have that Indy style.

weren't people saying this sort of thing when Episode 1 was announced? ;)

I'm not holding my breath for this one, but i'm certainly crossing my fingers!

I've seen the original trilogy, and am certainly hoping that this one will be most pleasing!

I saw yesterday the Raiders of the Lost Ark on the TV and came tears to my eyes. Man, im really looking foward to see Indy 4.
My 3 films of Indy are really starting to get wasted...

03-05-2003, 04:59 PM
I just hope they are able to recreate the humor that made the original 3 so great. For instance, in Raiders of the Lost Ark, when Indy is being shut in the room where he found the Ark, the woman is dropped in with him and falls on his head, screaming all the while at the snakes. Hilarious.

03-05-2003, 06:48 PM
Even though I've seen the original 3, I just started reading it!

03-07-2003, 08:39 PM
So everyone's favorite badass archeologist gets a forth movie, eh?

03-09-2003, 08:01 PM
I think Ford is about 61 now...is he going to play Indy's corpse?

03-09-2003, 10:06 PM
No, he's gonna play Indy in the 1950's.

hey Fords a cool guy ont make fun of him, he could play ......anyone he odesnt even look old

03-10-2003, 10:50 AM
Hey, you don't have to be young to be an action hero. Sean Connery has proven that, he beats the hell out of the latest "Ack-shun hee rows" such as Brendan Fraser and The Rock.

03-10-2003, 07:25 PM
Hey, Brendan Fraser rocks. Didn't you see The Mummy?

yeah! brendon should be in indy 4, as like....a wannabe indy who ends up dying

03-10-2003, 09:54 PM
I thought the first sequence of him walking through the pyramid thing in The Mummy Returns looked like it was ripped straight from an Indy movie.

Well, it's official. Ford got mad with the Producers and said he wasn't doing the movie, so they using Ben Afleck(s/p?) to play Indy.:( How gross is that. I'm really mad about this. I hate Ben Afleck.

its affleck....with 2 f's :D

i dont mind him hes a good actor

04-02-2003, 04:12 AM
Despite the fact that this is a joke, let's discuss him anyway :)

He's a cocky bastard..... I don't like him at all. Especially now that he's getting married to J-Lo.... when he goes on talk shows, he rubs it in everyones faces, saying that he can go home and make love to her whenever he likes.

Skate Boy
04-02-2003, 04:40 PM
I think I got you KingPin.:D

I hate him too.

I wish I was married to her....*grumble*

04-03-2003, 06:45 PM
Affleck is a pretty good actor. He was really good in "Good Will Hunting".

04-20-2003, 12:08 AM
as noted above, this has little to do with Jones, but affleck's ok in my book. Mostly because he's associated with Kevin Smith [mallrats, chasing amy, clerks, etc]

Bob Gnarly
04-20-2003, 12:22 PM
yeah chasing amy and Dogma where great

04-26-2003, 03:29 AM
As long as Lucas co-wrote Indiana 4 and is executive producer and Steven Spielburg is the director, it would probably make lots of money and make me happy. They better have John Williams do the score. I will be mad if they don't. If this is the last Indiana Jones, they should bring all the surviving characters from the other 3 movies and have them be apart of the movie. I wonder since Nazis aren't going to be in it and it is set in 1950's. Will the villians be Soviets?

04-27-2003, 07:38 PM
I think the real question is, will this movie help me realise my dream of owning and operating a methamphetamine laboratory with an 80's glam rock theme?

Bob Gnarly
04-27-2003, 09:12 PM
hopefully it does :D

04-28-2003, 12:44 AM
Yes. Let us pray to Jebus that it be made so.
