It would be a very intense and interesting fight indeed. I think there is no telling for sure who would win. One team would have to make a mistake.

well if you're talking about all of them in their prime then i would say dooku/vader, vader could beat luke (if he really wanted to) and dooku can beat obi-wan

Nah, I think Luke could handle Dooku. And Obi Wan to help him out, of course Luke and Obi would win!

Vader / Dooku (this is without the protagonist's shield, right?).

Dooku could devastate Luke with lightning, and Vader could kill Obi-wan with straight-up lightsabering.

well, it does depend.. If ALL of them are in their Prime, then it would be too close a call. because if Dooku attacked Luke with Lightning, Luke would know to use his lightsaber to absorb it. And obi-wan would be a much better saberists to Vader. So really, it just boils down to who would win between Dooku and Luke for the battle of the sabers.

Learned from where? The movies show that Luke never had the ability to absorb force lightning with a lightsaber

You're kidding, right? Vader was able to single handedly purge hundreds of Jedi, and probably killed most the Jedi Council himself. Obi-wan was only able to defeat Darth Maul by channeling his hatred into his swordsmanship, and then catching Maul off guard. Heck, he isn't even on the Jedi Council. Any Council member could beat Kenobi in a stand-up lightsaber fight.

Luke didn't block Palpatine's lightning. It doesn't mean he can't.

Vader can surely beat dooku. If Dooku could have beaten Vader, why didn't Yoda just hop in Luke's X-Wing and kill Vader. Oh maybe he was too old.....Just forget about that.

Much to learn you still have. You guys OBVIOUSLY didn't read what I wrote. I said if ALL of them were in their prime, THAT INCLUDES LUKE. Prime meaning that they are at the top of their game. Obi-wan knew to absorb the Lightning, so in time, he would have told Luke how to. ANYWAYS, Yoda probably instructed Obi-wan to go into hiding to help look after Luke, knowing that he would be the key. If Obi-wan were to fight vader, Id have to recall what I said and say that it would be an even match, where they would probably strike each other down... and I doubt that vader single-handedly defeated every Council Member. Plo Kloon or Ki-Adi Mundi, or Mace easily could have whipped Vader. Palpatine only said what he did to further encourage anakin to join him, and end up joining the the dark side. He is the chosen one because he goes from light side to dark side BACK to light side. Even with a high midichlorian count, it doesn't mean one's game is better than another's. (There, that gets rid of any comments saying that well, you said if they were at the top of their game...)

If there is no evidence to show he can, it is assumed he can't. I never grew wings and flew, but that doesn't mean I can't, right?

Luke's prime is the Death Star II fight, since that is the best we ever see him fight. Unless you care to introduce non canon material into a canon character (a very bad idea), his prime was not very impressive.

When was this? Certainly not before Episode Six, since Luke didn't even know about Force Lightning. If he had, Palpatine would not have said what he said and Luke would have kept his lightsaber. Besides, he was very suprised when Palpatine opened up on him.

Obi-wan is only a so-so fighter, and from the events of Episode III (and his midi-chlorian count), I'd have to say that Vader is probably an amazing fighter. However, it will be up to Episode III to validate my claims.

How do you know that? We've never seen Episode III Vader fight, only heard hints that he engaged in a mass purge of the Jedi, beside the Emperor.

At that moment Palpatine had an apprentice. He had no need for another.

A high midi-chlorian count enables a Jedi to have amazing reflexes and to harness knowledge of the immediate future and the people around them for use in combat.

Luke probably can absorb lightning like Yoda(if he is at his prime)

Sources / evidence? Or is that wild conjecture.

Well Luke was in his prime in ep6 as a Knight not a Master. Who knows what he can do as a master. Besides, it's only a theory and an assumption that he can. I mean come on! He is stronger in the Force then Yoda! But then it's true that he might never learn how to.......

For all we know he could be only a mediocre Jedi. There is no reason to assume he aquires difficult skills.

Where did you get that from? As far as I can remember, it was Yoda who can absorb Lightning and lift sunken star fighters, not Luke.

Powerbroker, if you remember in Episode 2, you would have known that Obi-wan absorbed Dooku's lightning through his lightsaber. Aborbed/Neutralized it anyway. That's where I got my "EVIDENCE" from. I would hardly call episode 6 Luke's "PRIME" seeing as how only an adrenaline rush from a threat from vader allows Luke to disarm Vader (literally). You are only assuming (which is never a good idea) that luke is in his prime. And you forget that when yoda lifted the x-wing, Luke had very little training. by episode 6, he was able to use the force grip on the gammoreans (a family trait apparently).

And you think that canon ideas are bad, assuming is worse. We all know what it means when someone assumes something.

I think Dooku/Vader would have won. Even though Obi would have beaten Vader, even Vader could kick that lazy moisture farmer who happened to find a lightsaber in his back yard. And Dooku would have wiped the floor with any of them.

I doubt that vader single-handedly defeated every Council Member. Plo Kloon or Ki-Adi Mundi, or Mace easily could have whipped Vader.

The episode 3 situation would probably be something like this:

Vader meets up at the Jedi Council

Vader: "And now, Jedi Masters, you will die!"
Jedi council: "HAHA!! Says you and what army?"
Vader: "This one right here" *shows the army of 5 zillion stormtroopers standing behind him*
Jedi council: "Oh crap....."
