Stabbed in the back!

Alright, I'm on the mission where I have to capture a convoy with the help of an allied pirate group, and I've been ordered to fire on my allies when they open fire on an escaping ship.

Any survival tips here? I can blow away two or three of them but then two more come at me and knock me out.

Just link up your guns, sit right behind one and as soon as his color changes on your radar, let him have it. You should be able to get two or three before they can react, and that should give you an edge. I don't remember them trying to kill you much on that mission, really...
