Man, I'm so Star-wars fan that when I see Star-wars actors doing something else I have fun...I mean, I'm so used to see 'em in the Star Wars roles browsing in sites and reading magazines and forums that when I see for example L.Jackson doing PULP FICTION I laugh a lot..
Do you know that Mark Hamill did the Joker voice on the Batman cartoon?

Also, take a look at this movie, where Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine) does a supporting role:
http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0112374

THAT sounds familiar to me LOL

If you know about other funny things, let us know

Yeah I'm the same. Don't forget Mark Hamill's and Carrie Fisher's cameos in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back!

I knew Mark Hamill did the Joker, but did you know he did the voice of the bad guy in Full Throttle? You may not have played it but it is a LucasArts game, and a pretty cool one. Anyway I can't tell it's his voice other than the fact that I know it is.

The only actor who I don't automatically think of Star Wars with is Harrison Ford. He's just distanced himself so much from Star Wars. But I still see every Harrison Ford movie there is.

Let's see if anyone can name which Star Wars actors were in the following movies:

Lawrence of Arabia
Sleepy Hollow (three for this one)
The Virgin Suicides
A Time to Kill
The Blue Brothers (two for this one)

Lawrence of Arabia - ? peter cushing ?
Sleepy Hollow (three for this one) - Ian McDiarmid, ?, ?
The Virgin Suicides - hayden christensen
A Time to Kill - sam jackson
The Blue Brothers (two for this one) - carrie fisher, frank oz

there's other piece of info -

you can find two ex-star wars characters in bbc's hospital drama, Holby City, there are Wedge - Dennis Lawson and Captain Panaka - Hugh Quarshie

Sleepy Hollow (three for this one) - Ian McDiarmid, ?, ?
Ray Park (Darth Maul!) played the Headless Hessian (as opposed to the capitated Hessian, played by Christopher Walkin). Park can kick booty, man!

But who's the third?

I don't know the third one, but Ray PArk(Maul) was in X-Men as Toad.

Sleepy Hollow: Ian McMiarmird, Ray Park and Christopher Lee!

In a English or Irish movie about a town music band, Ewan Mc Gregor appeared, and a Secondary character was Admiral Piett!

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade evil Character (Donovan) is General Veers

Mark Hammil is a very talented an renowed voice actor. He has made several voices in many Cartoons. I recall that he is The Hogoblin in the Spider-man series.

Carrie Fisher apperas on Austin Powers.

Cristoper Lee apears in LOTR

Billy Dee Williams is the Major in Batman (first movie)

George Lucas appears in Beverly Hills Cop III as a visitor in the theme Park ('spining wheel' or ( whatever it is called ) scene

Jedi_Monk
12-19-2002, 04:46 PM
Who was Christopher Lee in Sleepy Hollow?

Also, in Batman, Billy Dee didn't play the Mayor; he was District Attourny Harvy Dent (who later became Two Face, and was played by Tommy Lee Jones).

About Sleepy Holow, My brother saw the movie, he says Christopher Lee is the Judge in the City.

Wasn't that Christopher Lee as Scaramanga in James Bond, 007's "The Man With the Golden Gun?"

:)

Wüstenfuchs
12-20-2002, 09:13 PM
I think that Carrie was in Austin Powers 1.

LEE WAS IN 007?
Man, he was veeery young if so!

Taos
12-21-2002, 04:30 AM
Nah, he really wasn't that young....I'd say in his 30's. But remember how old the guy is now....I mean he's up there! :)

JediNyt

Lee is about 80 I think.

Ill name off a few roles I can think of: Carry Fischer was in The Burbs with Tom Hanks.

The guy who played General Rieken (sp) in ep5 was in an episode of Fawlty Towers (old Brittish sitcom) with John Cleese as a rude American.

Ray Park might have been in Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Lee as one of the bad guys.

Mark Hamill voiced a character named Wilson in the game Soldier of Fortune 2.

Ewan McGregor was the coffea making soldier in Black Hawk Down.

Thats about all thats off the top of my head.

I just remembered Carrie Fisher in Scream 3 as the lady who keeps all of the records in the basement of that film studio.

I'm starting to become a fan of Lee...

Now, he is the man with the golden gun AND the coolest sith ever...:D

Man that would be kick a$$ in a movie. Christopher Lee playing a fusion of Scaramanga/Saruman/Dooku. Damn he would kick everybody's a$$es!

Wüstenfuchs
12-21-2002, 10:37 PM
hell yeah, and I couldn't imagine that good fusion in other actors...! McGregor for example...

imagine him in the hangar duel...dropping off his lightsaber and at the same time starting to sing YOUR SONG for Dooku...:D

Admiral Vostok
12-22-2002, 12:25 AM
Sorry, I've been gone for a bit, but yeah you got them all. Yeah Christopher Lee was in Sleepy Hollow as the guy who sends Ichabod Crane to Sleepy Hollow. It was a cameo really...

I saw Billy Dee Williams in an old Episode of ER, I think it was.

Even though he's not in the movie, the Nutty Professor always gives me a laugh.
"Ooh, he looks just like Billy Dee. Billy Dee, Billy Dee, Billy Dee!"

i have a question, does anyone know how he got his scar?

Taos

Damn you Sivy!!! :xp:

I think copying/pasting would be cheating in this matter! :D :p

Keiran Halcyon
12-23-2002, 10:25 AM
I know about the scar! :)

A knife did in SW, and whip did in IJ :D (i think that in Working girl there is an explanation too)

I saw a doccumentary of his life, it was an car accident, i think that when he was moving to LA to try his acting skills in Hollywood. I think he carshed with a phone post, but it was not a bad accident, i think the only injury was the chin scar. (and maybe something in the arm...) He survived it anyway :D

A movie you forgot (i saw it today) is one reagarding a rabbi and Ford is a gunner cowboy (unless it is the frisco kid)
He also appeared in the Young indiana jones chronicles as grown indy (smal role i suppose)

You forgot Indiana jones IV! :D

Wüstenfuchs
12-23-2002, 12:17 PM
How bout Sam Jackson? Is there any movie that he did better than PULP and SW? I don't think so...

Besides, A fusion between JULES WINNFIELD and MACE WINDU would be the best one dude!
Imagine Mace saying this before chopping off Jango's head:

"There's a passage I got memorized, seems appropriate for this
situation: Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil
men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will,
shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly
his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will
strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you!"

AND THEN SLASH! lol:D

Keiran Halcyon

I saw SUperman: The MOVie yesterday, and Terence Stamp (Supreme chancellor Valorum) was the Evil Kryptonian General who is exiled and that appears later in Spuerman II i think.
